So I blogged about this many, many, many moons ago but,
one of my absolute favorite things in the world is a firefly. More specifically, thousands of them. And seeing as I live out in the country side, I get to see this a lot in the summer when I’m driving by the fields.
But I’ve never stopped to get out and watch them. Just sit there and watch them flit about. Because they really do light up the night around here.
It’s all just really surreal and beautiful to watch. Mixed with the fact that there might be a warm breeze blowing and there’s no smog covering the night sky.
Absolute perfection.
